Muslims from across the Islamic world have gathered to commemorate Mawlid Al Nabi, the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Mawlid celebrations are not celebrated by all Muslims, with some passionately arguing that the day is an innovation. Despite this, many continue to enjoy the annual date as an opportunity to express their love for the Prophet.
