Illegal Jewish settlers and Israeli forces have been silently carrying out violent raids in the occupied West Bank, resulting in more than 1,000 Palestinian deaths since October 7, 2023.
While the world’s attention has been on Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza, at least 1,013 Palestinians have been killed in the occupied West Bank in the last 22 months.
The war on Gaza has claimed at least 60,000 Palestinian lives, which has allowed Israel to silently ramp up its violent raids by occupying Israeli forces and illegal Jewish settlers.
On Monday, Israeli forces shot dead a Palestinian man in the town of Qabatiya in the northern district of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian General Authority for Civil Affairs confirmed that a Palestinian was killed by Israeli gunfire in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
The victim was named as 33-year-old Yousel al-Amer whose body was reportedly withheld by the occupying Israeli army.
In the moments leading up to his murder, Israeli forces had surrounded an agricultural warehouse between the towns of Mirka and Qabatiya where they fired rockets at it.

This is what killed Yousef while simultaneously destroying the warehouse, witnesses told Anadolu Agency.
Occupying Israeli forces went on to bulldoze the site and then retrieved the body before they withdrew, the witnesses added.
Who is attacking Palestinians in the West Bank?
The attacks are being carried out by Israeli military forces and Jewish settlers living in the illegal settlements across the West Bank.
Illegal settlers are known to launch sudden, unexpected and violent raids on Palestinian towns, villages, and agricultural land.
They burn property while attacking innocent Palestinian civilians with the goal of displacing them from their homes.
Many settlers have been armed and supplied with semi-automatic weapons, and some illegal paramilitary groups have been incorporated into the occupying Israeli army. Due to this, the lines between official military personnel and illegal settler groups have been blurred.
Since the Hamas-led October 7, 2023, attacks to July 1, 2025, more than 1,013 Palestinians have been killed, which includes 202 children, 9,230 injured, 6,574 people displaced, and at least 3,091 structures demolished, according to Al Jazeera.
