London family plea for help finding missing schoolgirl Hafiza

An east London family have made a plea for help to find a 14 year old girl who has been missing for three nights.

Hafizah went to school on Thursday and then never came back to her home in Newham.

She was last seen in her school uniform, a black jacket with a fluffy hood and black lace-up boots.

The family said Hafizah’s school confirmed she attended classes on the day she went missing, but no one knows what happened to her afterwards.

They fear the child, who has struggled with mental health issues in the past, may have been tricked and lured away by someone.

In a message directly to the schoolgirl, her brother told Metro.co.uk: “Hafizah, if you’re reading this, please come home. If you can’t because someone or something is stopping you, please call or get a message to us or the police so we can help bring you home. We all love you so very much and our hearts and minds will not be able to rest until you have been safely returned to us.”

In a tweet Newham police said they are “concerned for the welfare of 14yo Hafizah who has been missing from Central Park Road, Newham E6 since 6pm on 7th Oct. Last seen wearing the furry hooded coat in the picture.”

How you can help:

1) Form search parties in your locality. People know their own areas best. Be sure to check parks, libraries, shopping centers & also places hidden out of view such as alleyways.

2) Print official flyers. Put them up everywhere. Go door to door & ask if people have seen her.

3) Spread the word about Hafizah on social media using hashtag #FindHafizah
