On January 30, the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) released more than three million pages of files related to its investigation into the notorious paedophile and convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, implicating numerous prominent British and American politicians and businessmen, as well as the UAE government.
Revelations that have emerged from the recent release of the Epstein Files include a potential set-up by UAE leader Mohammed bin Zayed of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over the Jamal Khashoggi murder, secret plots to spread atheism among Muslims, and racial superiority theories of Jews over the “goyim” (non-Jews). Here are 5Pillars’ top ten most shocking revelations:
1. Did the UAE set MBS up over the Jamal Khashoggi murder?
On 2 October 2018, Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed in Istanbul at the Saudi Arabian consulate, raising questions over a suspected assassination.
By 12 October, the case had erupted into an international crisis, sparking worldwide outrage over the killing of Khashoggi. US intelligence later concluded that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had approved the operation.

However, in emails from Epstein to a man named Anas al-Rashid, Epstein said: “smells like something bigger to me. I wouldn’t be surprised if MBZ set him up,” referring to the United Arab Emirates’ ruler, Mohammed bin Zayed. Al-Rashid responded: “mmmmmm”.

In June 2017, the UAE led the charge to isolate Qatar by dragging Saudi Arabia and Bahrain along with them, claiming that Qatar was financing “terrorism” and the Muslim Brotherhood movement.

However, leaked emails from UAE Ambassador Yousef al-Otaiba show that this was a carefully coordinated UAE-Israeli operation to crush Qatar, a GCC state which refused to normalise ties with Israel.
3. UAE-based businesswoman Aziza Al-Ahmadi shipped the Kaaba’s cloth to Jeffrey Epstein
An email correspondence found in the Epstein Files details a shipment of the kiswa, the black and gold embroidered cloth which shrouds the holy Kaaba in Makkah’s Masjid al-Haram, which was arranged to be delivered to Jeffrey Epstein via UAE-linked contacts.

The email exchange, dated February and March 2017, shows UAE-based businesswoman Aziza al-Ahmadi working with a man called Abdullah al-Maari to organise the shipment of three selected pieces from the Kiswa.
4. UAE businessman Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem makes Islamophobic jokes to Epstein
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, CEO of the UAE’s Dubai Ports World, wrote to Jeffrey Epstein:

“A friend of mine went to the mosque in Saudi. He said with all these terrorists frankly you can’t tell whether the guy standing next to you is just scratching his balls or fiddling with the detonator button!!!”
5. Epstein was involved in efforts to curb the growth of “conservative Islam” in Türkiye
Bill Gates and other powerful billionaires were reportedly enlisted to suppress the influence of conservative Muslims in Türkiye. Landon Thomas Jr., a board member of Robert College, a French lycée secondary school in Istanbul, Türkiye, sought donations and fundraising advice from Jeffrey Epstein.
“In today’s Turkey, where the influence of conservative Islam is creeping more and more into social life and the education system, the mission of Robert College has never been more important, and it is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year,” he wrote.

“Turkey, post the ISIS phenomenon, is taking a very conservative turn and we on the board are redoubling our efforts.”
5. Epstein in correspondence with prominent atheist academic Professor Dr Laurence Krauss over Muslims leaving Islam
The atheist academic Professor Dr Laurence Krauss boasted to Epstein about convincing Muslims to leave Islam. Epstein told him it was a waste of time and advised him to become a rabbi instead.
When a 22-year-old Muslim reached out to Dr Krauss thanking him for enlightening him to the “amazing world of science” and taking him away from Islam, Epstein replied:
“I won’t dignify this trite anecdote… if you had 1 million of these it would not be worth one day of your time. If you want to be a rabbi, do it. This is not science. This is religion. And a total f*cking waste of your unique talents. The idea you found this meaningful makes me sad.”
6. Elon Musk was eager to attend the “wildest party” so he could “let loose” with Epstein
Whilst on holiday in St Barths, Elon Musk sent Epstein an email saying: “Do you have any parties planned?… I really want to hit the party scene in St Barts or elsewhere and let loose… a peaceful island experience is the opposite of what I’m looking for.”

8. Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell spoke about racial superiority of Jews
Jeffrey Epstein and his girlfriend and accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, spoke about racial themes of eugenics, IQ, Jews manipulating the stock markets, partying with “WASP girls”, and labouring “goyims” (a Hebrew term to describe non-Jews, sometimes used in a derogatory manner).

In one email about eugenics, Masha Drokova said to Epstein: “I found criteria to find smart people. The more Jew you are the smarter you are.” She went on to tell Epstein how he should only work with genetically tested Jews.
9. Epstein was a big fan of Nigel Farage and Tommy Robinson
Epstein was a supporter of Reform UK leader Nigel Farage and Zionist Islamophobe Tommy Robinson. Epstein celebrated Robinson’s release from prison, while Steve Bannon described the convicted fraudster as “cheap at any price” and the “backbone of England”.

“TOMMY ROBINSON!! good work,” Epstein wrote to an unnamed figure in one message celebrating Robinson’s release from jail in 2018.
10. Lord Mandelson leaked classified British state intelligence with Epstein
Peter Mandelson, who resigned from the Labour Party on Sunday night, forwarded internal government information to Jeffrey Epstein when he was Business Secretary in 2009.

In June 2009, Gordon Brown’s policy adviser Nick Butler wrote an email to the Prime Minister about the UK’s struggling economy, in which he advocated “releasing value from the very substantial asset base which the Government holds” and suggested the government come up with an “asset sales plan”.
Mandelson forwarded this to Epstein with a message saying: “interesting note that’s gone to the PM.”
Mandelson also received $75,000 in payouts from Epstein.
