Video footage has emerged of a policeman continuously punching a suspect as he “resisted arrest” in Morden, south London.
The clip shows three police officers trying to restrain 27-year-old Adam Salman in June earlier this year.
A Met Police spokesperson said the officer’s conduct had been investigated and deemed appropriate.
Mr Salman was later convicted of drugs offences and resisting arrest.
