Another prominent far-right MAGA influencer and Islamophobe, Joey Mannarino, has been denied entry into the UK for Tommy Robinson’s upcoming hate march in central London on May 16, joining the likes of Valentina Gomez.
Mannarino, who has over a million followers across social media, posted an image of the cancellation of his Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) on the basis that his presence is “not conducive to the public good.”
“They have banned an American citizen from their country for no apparent reason whatsoever. I assume for matters of freedom of speech, but they haven’t clarified,” he said in a post on social media platform X.
“I will most certainly be appealing that decision and applying for a visa through the formal process to see exactly why they’ve deemed me ineligible to come over.”
“Free speech is DEAD in the United Kingdom. Absolutely dead. The Labour government has taken whatever was left of it and destroyed it.”
Mannarino has joined what seems to be a growing list of far-right and Islamophobic influencers who have been denied entry into the UK by the Home Office, the most recent being Valentina Gomez.
Gomez, a prolific Qur’an burner who encourages her millions of followers to rise up against Muslims and Islam, was banned on April 20 following a mass campaign by 5Pillars, UK Muslims, and anti-far-right activists across social media.

Who is Joey Mannarino?
Hope Not Hate, a UK-based anti-fascist advocacy group, identified Mannarino as a far-right, hateful, misogynistic and racist individual following his appearance at a Britain First rally in Manchester in August 2025.
In front of over 600 attendees, Mannarino spoke in front of a giant photo of himself and President Trump while saying that “we need to deport the parasites who are raping their way through America, Europe and the United Kingdom”.
Mannarino’s overt racism and Islamophobia can be seen all over his X timeline, where he constantly pushes a harmful anti-immigrant rhetoric, conflating Muslims, migrants and rapists into the same category.
“When I fly to Paris, I want to eat French onion soup and see a show at Moulin Rouge… I don’t want to eat kebabs and see Mohammed mug a tourist on the subway,” one post with over 4.3 million views read.

Other controversial takes from Mannarino include saying “Islamophobia is intelligence”, or saying that Islamophobia isn’t a phobia, but a “survival instinct against Islam.”
“Islamophobia is not a real concept. It is a reaction to them constantly murdering people.”

Mannarino also claims that Islam has ruined the United Kingdom as he pushes the common far-right trope that Islam is aiming to take over and replace Europe and the UK.
Commenting on the cancellation of his ETA, Mannarino again related the issue to the “migrant crisis”, as he said: “I find it really weird how the United Kingdom considers me to be ‘not conducive to the public good’ but considers it just fine to import hundreds of thousands of third-world migrants who arrive without anyone even vetting them.”
“You have entire cities that are filled with foreign rapists who entered the country illegally and rape, stab and harass women at will.”
Double standards
Many questions have been raised around how the Home Office processes its decisions on banning far-right Islamophobic individuals.
Last month, the government had initially approved Valentina Gomez’s ETA and had refused to respond to public outrage over the matter when personally contacted by 5Pillars for a statement.

Despite this, numerous Muslim public figures, preachers, speakers and media personalities alike were denied entry into the UK.
Such names include Dr Zakir Naik, Dr Shadee Elmasry and Uthman ibn Farooq who were accused of antisemitism for speaking out against Israel.
