37 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks in various parts of Gaza over the last 24 hours in one of the most flagrant violations of the ceasefire that has been in place since early October 2025.

Medical sources told Anadolu that five Palestinians, including three children and two women, were killed when an Israeli airstrike hit a residential apartment in the Rimal neighbourhood of western Gaza City. Several others were injured in the same attack on Saturday.

In southern Gaza, paramedics at Nasser Hospital said seven Palestinians were killed when an Israeli airstrike targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the Asdaa area northwest of Khan Younis. The victims included a man, his three sons, and three of his young grandchildren.

Eyewitnesses also reported injuries following an Israeli strike on a residential flat in the Al Tuffah neighbourhood, east of Gaza City. Additional strikes were reported along Al Jalaa Street northwest of Gaza City and east of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, though no casualties were confirmed in those incidents.

Strikes on displacement sites

Israeli fighter jets also struck the administration building of the Ghaith camp, which shelters hundreds of displaced Palestinians in the Al Mawasi area of Khan Younis, near Al Ribat College on Street 2. An Anadolu correspondent reported that the attack came after an evacuation warning issued by the Israeli army.

The same correspondent said the strike was preceded by an earlier attack carried out by an Israeli drone, suggesting a coordinated operation against the site. The camp had been housing families displaced by earlier rounds of fighting.

In a statement, the Palestinian Civil Defence in Khan Younis said its crews “brought under control a fire that broke out in the tents of displaced people at Ghaith camp” following the attack by Israeli warplanes. Eyewitnesses cited by Anadolu said the strike caused extensive material damage, destroying several tents.

In a separate development, Gaza’s Interior Ministry said Israeli warplanes targeted the Sheikh Radwan police station west of Gaza City. The brief statement said the attack resulted in the killing and injury of a number of police officers and personnel.

A medical source told Anadolu that seven Palestinians were killed in the strike on the police station. The building sustained heavy damage, according to eyewitnesses at the scene.

Witnesses also told Anadolu that search operations were ongoing for several people believed to be trapped under the rubble of the targeted building, as rescue teams continued efforts amid difficult conditions.

Ceasefire violations and humanitarian impact

The Gaza media office said that since the ceasefire took effect in early October, Israeli actions have killed 524 Palestinians and wounded 1,360 others, amounting to 1,450 violations of the agreement.

The office added that Israeli forces have arrested 50 Palestinians during the same period, detaining them from areas far from the yellow line and from within residential neighbourhoods.

Regarding the humanitarian protocol, the media office said Israel has allowed the entry of 28,927 aid, commercial, and fuel trucks out of a total of 66,600 stipulated under the agreement, a compliance rate of 43%.

The ceasefire followed a two-year Israeli war on Gaza that killed nearly 71,800 Palestinians and wounded more than 171,400. The assault destroyed around 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure, with United Nations estimates placing reconstruction costs at about $70 billion.
