Robinson and blasphemy

The controversial far-right figure currently leads a street movement of nationalists who have been documented engaging in violent anti-social behaviour on Britain’s streets as part of a campaign to promote anti-immigrant and anti-Islam politics in Britain.

These protests, known locally as Unite the Kingdom rallies, are a hotbed of Islamophobic chanting, racist rhetoric and blasphemous attacks on Islam.

Robinson’s supporters have been filmed chanting: “Allah, Allah, who the f**k is Allah,” at these marches, while also demanding that Islam be criminalised.

Robinson has also platformed notorious Quran desecrators over the years, including American-Colombian far-right congressional candidate Valentina Gomez, who called for a “crusade” against “rapist Muslim invaders” at a rally in September.

Robinson has also praised and defended the late Quran burner Salwan Momika, who sparked worldwide protests over his Quran-burning demonstrations in Sweden in 2023 and 2025.

Screenshots of Robinson’s abusive anti-Islam X posts have been reshared as onlookers attempt to raise the matter with local authorities.

The UAE has strict blasphemy laws under its penal code and anti-discrimination laws, criminalising any insult to God, religions, Prophets, holy books or holy sites, with penalties including imprisonment (often a minimum of one year) and large fines, and with non-citizens facing deportation for such offences.

These laws prohibit the expression of views contradictory to Islam or the denigration of recognised religions, and are enforced through various means, including social media and online content.

On X, Robinson has said: “I’ll slap you back 1,400 years to ya n**ce Prophet” and “your prophet is my b**ch.”

5Pillars has contacted Dubai Police for comment on the story but has not yet received a reply.

According to an interview Robinson gave at the boxing event, it appears he has been “invited” as a guest to speak at an event to discuss “terrorist organisations in the UK”.
