More than 100 Palestinians were killed in several attacks carried out by the Israeli army in northern Gaza at daybreak this morning.
Medical sources told Anadolu Agency that the Israeli army carried out “horrific massacres” targeting civilians.
They reported several casualties when the Israeli army targeted an ambulance in the town of Jabalia in northern Gaza, the latest in a series of attacks on medics and health care facilities.
An Anadolu correspondent also reported that the Israeli army targeted more than 11 inhabited homes in northern Gaza.
The Director-General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that the Strip is “witnessing ethnic cleansing massacres that have resulted in the martyrdom of 250 people within just 36 hours,” pointing to systematic targeting of hospitals by the occupation.
He added that the occupation is using modern weapons banned internationally to target civilian facilities, calling for an international investigation into the types of these prohibited weapons.
The Director-General also indicated that the increase in cases of malformed foetuses is due to the use of these weapons, warning of a severe shortage in medical supplies, medical staff, and intensive care units in the Strip.

Yesterday, at least 120 Palestinians, most of them children, were killed in deadly Israeli attacks targeting crowded residential areas, tents, a clinic, and civilian gatherings across the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, at least 13 crowded homes and a number of tents and civilian sites were targeted without any warning across Khan Younis city, killing at least 61. The attacks have wiped out entire families.
Among those killed in Khan Younis were journalists Hassan Samour and Ahmed al-Helou. Samour and 11 members of his family were killed when an Israeli strike targeted their home in Bani Suheila, a town east of Khan Younis.
Al-Helou was killed along with his brother following an Israeli strike that targeted a civilian gathering near Hamad City. Al-Helou worked in design and video editing at Quds News Network Arabic.
In Jabalia camp in northern Gaza, an Israeli strike on al-Tawbah medical clinic and a prayer room in the same building killed at least 15 people and wounded several others, the Health Ministry said.

There has been no direct statement from Israeli officials specifically addressing attacks in Gaza over the past 48 hours, however Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has previously justified intensified military actions as necessary to pressure Hamas into releasing hostages and to achieve strategic objectives, such as defeating Hamas.
On May 8, Netanyahu described a new plan involving a “forceful entry” into Gaza to seize and hold territory, with the goal of concluding the war and bringing hostages home.
This followed announcements of an expanded offensive, including plans to displace Gaza’s population southward and control aid distribution, which Netanyahu claimed was for civilian safety.
The Israeli army has pursued a brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, killing some 53,000 Palestinians so far, most of them women and children.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
