Israeli officials discussed destroying UNRWA weeks before Israel’s recent allegations against the UN aid agency, which serves as a lifeline for two million people in Gaza.
At least 152 UNRWA staff have been killed in Gaza, and 141 of the aid agency’s facilities damaged or destroyed in Israeli attacks.
The death toll of UN personnel is the highest in any conflict in such a short period of time.
