An elderly Muslim couple captured on CCTV the shocking moments their Palestine flags were ripped down by men in two separate incidents, including by one man wielding a saw.

The anti-Palestine acts were recorded by the home owners, whose wish to remain anonymous, after they raised the flags in early 2024.
The elderly Muslim couple, who live in Ilford, East London, have been passionately supporting the Palestine cause since October.
However, the flags which have been erected on their property in early 2024 have been targeted in two separate vandalism incidents over the past few weeks.
Local Palestine solidarity activists told 5Pillars that they believe the home is being targeted in a campaign of “harassment and intimidation”.
One homeowner told 5Pillars they have contacted the police about the incidents.
