Part 2: In Conversation with Yasir Qadhi

    Journalist Yasmin Khatun interviews prominent scholar Dr. Yasir Qadhi on Islam Channel’s new show “In Conversation with.”

    In part two of the interview, the American preacher elaborates on his role as an international speaker and some of the sensitivities different Muslim communities hold.

    He also discusses the role of women in Islam and whether they should work and the issue of ascribing oneself to a particular group or sect, including his own detachment from the Salafi movement.

    Dr. Qadhi shares his vision for Islam in the west and the changes he’s been through as a scholar from his time at Madinah University to achieving a doctorate from Yale.
