A video has emerged showing supporters of the radical preacher Anjem Choudary verbally clashing with Pakistani nationalists on Independence Day.
Although Choudary is not seen in the video several of his supporters are, including Abu Haleema who is supposedly banned from social media. The video also appears to have been uploaded from Abu Haleema’s account.
The Choudary supporters are seen criticising Pakistan and calling it a “kufr state which is allied with the Americans in killing Muslims.”
But a far larger contingent of pro-Pakistanis challenge the Choudary supporters and chant “Long Live Pakistan” and praise its founder Jinnah.
Meanwhile, police seem to have their hands full keeping a lid on things.
