Outrage is mounting as furious calls erupt online demanding the Home Office takes urgent action to stop notorious American Islamophobe Valentina Gomez from entering the country.
Gomez, widely condemned as an anti-Muslim hate preacher, has announced plans to come to London for a far-right rally on May 16, sparking fears of escalating tensions and unrest if she is allowed through the border.
The outrage and calls for her to be blocked from entering the UK come just days after controversial American musician Kanye West (Ye) was barred over his past antisemitic views.
5Pillars has contacted the Home Office about calls for her ban and they are considering the case.
Gomez is a far-right Republican political candidate in the United States, associated with the pro-Israel camp within the “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) movement.
She has run for public office, including a congressional seat in Texas, and has gained notoriety primarily through provocative and controversial political stunts rather than any political achievements, of which she boasts none.
Gomez, a Colombia-born immigrant to the US, has positioned herself as an extremist anti-Islam preacher who has been widely condemned for using aggressive and hateful language in her activism including conducting Quran burnings and harassing Muslims at public gatherings or outside mosques.

She has already appeared in London on several occasions in recent times. Last September, she ranted on stage at a far-right Tommy Robinson-led “Unite the Kingdom” rally where she incited for holy war against UK Muslims and called them “rapists.”
5Pillars first became aware of her plans to speak at the May 16 rally after an exchange between Ms Gomez and 5Pillars founder and editor Roshan Salih on X.
On April 8, Roshan posted: “Valentina Gomez, the hate-filled Islamophobic Quran burner who called Muslims rapists on a stage in front of Downing St last year, MUST NOT be allowed to enter the UK for the Tommy Robinson hate march in London on May 16. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood bans Jew haters like Kanye West from entering the country. Will she do the same for Muslim haters?”
To which Gomez replied: I’m coming back to the UK whether you rapist muslims like it or not. See you all in London on May 16th. ENGLAND BELONGS TO THE ENGLISH.”
She later added: “I can’t wait to catch muslim pedophiles. Keir Starmer and Shabana Mahmood are afraid of me & can’t touch me.”
Growing calls for action
Following her announcement, a rising number of prominent voices have joined 5Pillars in questioning why a known Islamophobe like Gomez is still permitted to visit the UK.
A growing number of accounts on X have started lobbying the Home Office and Secretary of State Shabana Mahmood to take action to prevent her return to the UK, where she will likely peddle more horrid anti-Muslim views on stage.
Anti-racism activist Muktar Yassin said on X: “They need to keep the same energy for this unhinged bigot as they did for Kanye West.”
Journalist Ika Ferrer Gotić added: “If Kanye can’t, she shouldn’t be able to either. We’ll see how UK govt handles this one.”
Elsewhere, broadcaster and public speaker Narinder Kaur said: “You (Gomez) will be banned. We don’t let arse wipes into the country.”
While another broadcaster and financial analyst Albie Amankona said: “If Kanye West has had his visa revoked then this apparent racist, who does not appear to have any disability or issued any apology should have her visa revoked too. And everyone who called for Kanye to be banned from the UK, should be calling for Valentina to be banned too.”
So far the Home Office has not commented on the case. 5Pillars have reached out to them for comment and will update the article if they respond.
A history of hate
Gomez has a long history of inciting hate towards Muslims in America and Europe.
In September 2025, at the Unite the Kingdom rally, Gomez urged for the mass expulsion of Muslims from the UK and branded Prime Minister Keir Starmer “the biggest paedophile protector in history.”
“England belongs to the English. It’s either now or never, because if these rapists Muslims take over, they will not only rape your women, they will behead your sons, just like they did on October 7th in Israel,” she told the cheering crowd.
“So, we either fight now or we die. And we’re fighters, we are warriors of Jesus Christ. And in the words of the great Charlie Kirk, Islam is the sword that the left is using to destroy Christian nations and to destroy every Christian nation across the world. So, do not make peace with evil. Destroy it. And we need a new prime minister that has guts and that’s gonna stand up for the British and send all of these rapists Muslims and dirty rugs back to their Sharia nations.”
In December 2024, she released a campaign video showing the mock execution of a hooded immigrant effigy while calling for “public executions” of undocumented migrants. Social media platforms restricted the footage for violent content.
In August 2025, Gomez sparked widespread condemnation in America after posting a video of herself burning a copy of the Quran with a flamethrower.
In May 2025, Gomez again sparked a backlash when she interrupted a Muslim community day at the Texas Capitol building, shouting deeply offensive Islamophobic hate speech from a podium. Valentina Gomez infiltrated the event by wearing a hijab, which she removed before yelling racist tropes.
She routinely smears Muslims collectively of being “rapists”, “pedophiles” and “terrorists” online and at various events she attends.
In a recent X post published in March 2026, Gomez verbally abused the UK’s Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood as a “dirty” Muslim.
“No nation has ever benefitted from bringing in in dirty Muslims like you (Shabana). You came to a Christian country and took and oath on the Quran.”
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), America’s largest Muslim advocacy group, has condemned her rhetoric and warned that such behaviour fuels Islamophobia and threatens religious freedom in the United States.
