Hassan has stepped forward in the hopes of destroying Angela Rayner’s chances of becoming a government minister if Labour win the general election, 2024.
Standing as a candidate for George Galloway’s Workers Party GB, in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, Hassan is championing a number of key areas of Muslim concern including Gaza, Islamophobia and criticism of the controversial Prevent counter extremism strategy.
