More than 100 people have been killed by Israeli attacks on Rafah city in Gaza overnight. Israel says it now plans to invade the area it had earlier declared a ‘safe zone’.
At least 28,340 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli bombardment, and 67,984 wounded, since October 7.
