Teenage boy, baby sister flee from shelter to shelter under Israeli bombs

After their mother was killed by an airstrike and contact was lost with their father, Muhammad and Tulin fled from shelter to shelter under Israeli bombs in Gaza.

“A boy came and said, ‘There’s a school open here.’ We went and found it was full, so we sat on the stairs on the top floor. We sat there for a while, and then they dropped leaflets on the school and bombed the playground,” said 14-year-old Muhammad.

They now try to survive in a tent, while he searches for milk for his baby sister.

More than 25,000 Palestinian children have now lost one or both parents in Gaza.

More than 11,500 children have been killed in four months.

More than a million suffer symptoms of trauma.
