Israel has expanded its air and ground attacks on Gaza, bombing homes and schools in the south, which it had earlier declared a safe zone.
The Palestine Red Crescent says its ambulances have stopped operating in the north due to a lack of fuel and functioning hospitals.
At least 17,177 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since October 7.
Thousands more remain missing under the rubble.
