The BBC’s Emma Barnett has caused an uproar by repeatedly asking the new secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain if there were any female imams – a question Zara Mohammed did not answer coherently.
So how should Muslims answer “awkward” questions like that and what does it take to be a principled Muslim leader?
