Prominent American scholar and preacher, Yasir Qadhi has urged Muslims living in the West not to go and fight in Syria.
In a video posted on his YouTube channel, he says that Bashar al-Assad is the “Pharoah” of our times and the oppression in Syria is unprecedented. But he added that although theoretically doing jihad in Syria is a noble act, realistically Muslims from the West will do more harm than good if they go over there to fight.
