CCTV footage showing a London shopkeeper risking his life to protect a teenager from machete wielding thugs.
The dramatic CCTV footage shows a boy running into Abbas Solak’s shop and holding the door to prevent his attackers getting in.
Initially, Mr Solak from Hackney, East London, is seen supposedly trying to throw the boy out but when a knife is brandished, he stands between the 15-year-old boy and his attackers.
He told ITV News: “The teenager was yelling boss boss can you stop them they got a knife. I had to protect him. They could have done anything. I thought they were going to do something to harm him.”
