Deputy Editor of 5Pillars, Dilly Hussain took to the streets of London to ask Muslims whether they felt aspects of Islam are outdated and need changing. Here’s what they said…

This is a promotional video for the Islamic Education and Research Academy’s (iERA) upcoming debate, “Does Islam need a reformation?” on Friday 26th February 2016 in London.

The debate will be chaired by journalist and broadcaster Lauren Booth, and panellists include: Tom Holland (historian), Zara Faris (Muslim Debate Initiative), Theo Hobson (journalist and theologian), Safaruk Chowdhury (SOAS and Birkbeck), Dr Taj Hargey (Muslim Educational Centre of Oxford) and Abdullah al Andalusi (Muslim Debate Initiative).
