Sheikh Abdullah al-Faisal who supports ISIS pleads for Alan Henning’s life

A Jamaican-based cleric who supports ISIS has made a plea to the group to free British aid worker, Alan Henning.

Sheikh Abdullah al-Faisal said that according to Shariah law, ISIS is not allowed to kill a sympathiser to Islam.

He said: “Instead we were commanded by Allah to deal with them kindly and justly in the Quran (60:8).”

Sheikh Faisal reminded ISIS that Alan Henning went to help the Muslims of Syria, and killing him would be unIslamic and it will not help the group’s cause.

The cleric spent four years in a UK jail for soliciting murder and hate speech.

He is one the most hardline English-speaking preachers to publicly call for Henning’s release.
