Salahudeen al Ayubi and the liberation of Jerusalem – From weakness to strength

    Deputy editor of 5Pillars, Dilly Hussain, delivered a lecture at the University College of London (UCL) on the life of Salahudeen al Ayubi and the events that led to the liberation of Jerusalem in 1187 CE.

    Dilly also draws comparisons between the situation of the Muslim world during the time of Salahudeen and the state of the Ummah today, as well as providing some lessons and solutions from the Crusades.

    This event took place on Monday 14th December 2015 as part of UCL Isoc and Friends of Palestine Society’s ‘Al Aqsa Week’.
