Media spokeswoman for Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain, Dr Nazreen Nawaz discusses what the “secular media” intentionally leaves out when covering the gender segregation debate.
Dr Nawaz recently appeared on Channel 4 News but many felt that Jon Snow did not give her the opportunity to speak or answer the questions that were put to her.
This video is a direct response to the questions forwarded by Snow which were interrupted by the presenter.
Dr Nawaz explains how the orthodox Islamic position on gender segregation has been hijacked by a minority of Muslim liberals and secular fundamentalists under the banner of oppression of “women’s rights”.
