Tommy Robinson, the former leader of the English Defence League, who recently exposed a plot by former Army officer, Afzal Amin, to secure votes by planning a fake EDL demo against a “Mega mosque” in Dudley, has claimed that an unnamed “money man” worth £60 million had offered to ensure he would “never go hungry” in return for his assistance.
Afzal Amin was allegedly introduced to Tommy Robinson through the counter extremism think-tank, the Quilliam Foundation.
This was revealed by Robinson in an interview with LBC radio on Sunday morning with Nick Ferrari.
It also came soon after Nawaz strenuously denied any involvement on Twitter. He categorically denied allegations of being the “link man” that introduced Afzal Amin to Tommy Robinson.
Robinson said he had been told that the Birmingham-based businessman had made a £60m fortune, and he was suspicious of his motives because he was a Labour supporter.
Robinson added: “This money man is worth £60m. He’s come down and told me he’ll do whatever it takes to get Afzal in.
“He’s not a Conservative and he’s backing someone and he’s doing everything possible to get someone in. What I see is infiltration of a political party with a different agenda.”

Question is, could this millionaire “money man” restaurateur from Birmingham be funding Maajid Nawaz as well?
