International speaker and researcher, Hamza Tzortzis, says that the biggest form of terrorism is “state backed terrorism”.
The lecture which was delivered last year, explains how the 20th century was the bloodiest period in human history, with the death toll surpassing 87.5 million as a result of “politically motivated wars”.
Hamza Tzortzis also explains how all modern wars were carried out by secular states for natural resources and geopolitics – not religion.
He discusses the war on terror in light of Afghanistan (2001) and Iraq (2003), Libyan civil war (2011), and the war crimes committed by Israel in 1956, 1967, Sabra and Shatila (1982), and the Lebanon war (2006).
