A group of “gay Muslims” joined the huge London Pride march yesterday and were filmed chanting slogans such as “We’re here, we’re queer, we don’t drink beer” and “Ramadan Mubarak, Pride Mubarak.”
They appeared to be from Imaan, which describes itself as a charity supporting LGBTQI Muslims in the UK.
Orthodox mainstream Islam denounces homosexuality and the promotion of it based on Quranic texts and Prophetic hadith.
