Talha Ahsan and his family-run campaign wish everyone Eid Mubarak with your family and loved ones. Talha spends Eid in pre-trial solitary confinement in a US supermax prison.
This short film about the family of Talha Ahsan was produced for the Sheffield Documentary Festival First Cut Pitch Competition 2013.
Film maker Clare Cameron said: “When I first met Talha’s family and learnt about their situation, I felt moved and humbled to be welcomed into their home with open arms. I found it easy to connect with them and without their openness I could not have made the film that I made. They were so supportive of my project and my future and I really am very grateful to them for sharing their situation so eloquently with me.”
