Dilly’s Desk: Vlog episode 1 – Turkey, Muslim Brotherhood and David Cameron

In the first video edition of Dilly’s Desk, the deputy editor of 5Pillarz shares his thoughts on the week’s biggest news.

Filmed in my friend’s front room with an iPhone 5 and a makeshift tripod, I attempted my first shot at a “home-made” news recap of the week whilst being deprived of sleep, so please excuse the poor sound and camera quality.

This week I briefly go over the leaked conversation between a Turkish minister and security officials regarding Syria, AKP’s local election victory, the British government’s crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood’s activities, David Cameron vowing not to ban halal meat and BBC Panorama’s expose on the mayor of Tower Hamlets, Lutfur Rahman.
