Comedian Guzzy Bear calls for Jurassic World boycott after racist dinosaur name

Muslim comedian, “Guzzy Bear” has hit out at Hollywood blockbuster Jurassic World after an abbreviation for a dinosaur sounded like a racist slur.

Coventry comic Guzzy Bear, who regularly performs under the guise of Mobeen from Small Heath, was shocked when he heard one leading character shout “the Pachys are out of containment.”

The Pachycephalosaurus (pak-ee-sef-a-low-sor-us) is a real species of dinosaur which lived during the late Cretaceous period, 76 – 65 million years ago.

It’s likely its abbreviated nickname used in the film is unlikely to have held any meaning to those outside the UK – including it’s American writers.

Now angered Guzzy Bear – real name Guz Khan – has called for a boycott of the movie.

During the video Bear mistakenly refers to the Pakisaurus, which a fellow audience member had found when he tried to Google the prehistoric beast.
