“We still can’t get around the fact that someone can be so cruel and heartless enough to take a fellow human life. How can people go around thinking they are clever or big by carrying knives? We have lost a loved one.
“Finally, we would thank all family and friends for the support and please help us- if you have any idea of what has happened please tell the police. Rest in peace Azim; may Allah grant you a place in Heaven.”
The spot where Azim collapsed has been turned into a shrine.
Scores of flower bouquets have been left at the scene. More than 6,500 people have joined a Facebook tribute site.
