A woman from Maidstone has been convicted for biting a Muslim taxi driver in the aftermath of last year’s Manchester Arena attack.
Frankie Jo Schock, appeared before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court last week.
The court heard how the 31-year-old bit a Muslim taxi driver before her boyfriend at the time repeatedly punched him.
Magistrates also heard that Schock was travelling in a taxi into town last May, when she began to speak about the Manchester Arena attack, which had killed 23 people just nine days before.
Schock, who had been drinking, asked the driver if he was a “good or bad Muslim” before turning aggressive.
Photographs showed bite marks on the driver’s arm, which Schock denied were hers.
Pulling up at Pevensey Court, magistrates heard Schock shouted up to her then boyfriend, Sam Wood, who came downstairs and punched the driver repeatedly in the face and head.

During a police interview, Schock denied all memory of the incident, but told magistrates she did remember discussing the Manchester Arena attack with the cabbie.
Wood, 25, from Ashford, admitted assault by beating and was found not guilty of racially aggravated assault. He was bailed for a probation hearing.
Schock was found guilty of racially aggravated assault and will be sentenced on Tuesday 13 March.
