A heroic son carried his disabled mother down 24 flights of stairs to safety during the peak of the Grenfell Tower fire whist his father remains missing.
Shekeb Neda, 24, carried his disabled mother Flora, 55, on his back through smoke down 24 flights of stairs right to the bottom of Grenfell Tower.
He recently graduated from Kingston University with a degree in mechanical engineering.
His mother who suffers from a chronic muscle disease collapsed from the smoke which entered their home.
Shekeb’s uncle, Aref, told The Sun: “Shekeb needed to get her out quickly. He took her arms, put them around his neck and carried her over his back down all 24 floors.”
Flora remains in a coma in hospital whilst Shekeb also is in hospital too.
The father, Mohammed “Saber” Neda, remained in the flat and is confirmed missing.

The 57-year-old was last spoken to at 2.20am when he made a desperate phone call to a relative to say that Grenfell Tower was burning and that there was “no help”.
The official death toll from the horrific tower block fire remains at 30 whilst the BBC has reported the number to be as high as 70.
However, survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire and local residents of Kensington believe the number of deaths to be in the hundreds.
