A new video has allegedly shown how an Israeli paramedic planted a knife near a Palestinian executed by an Israeli soldier in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil.
The video was initially published by the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth early on Wednesday and then it went viral on the internet.
In the video, an Israeli paramedic throws a knife near the Palestinian youth Abdul-Fattah al-Sharif, who was executed by an Israeli soldier in Al-Khalil’s Old City on March 25.
An earlier video was published showing the Israeli soldier shooting the bleeding Palestinian from a very close distance although he did not pose any danger.
The Israeli media and officials have repeatedly claimed that the Israeli soldier, who was hailed by the Israeli public and officials including PM Benjamin Netanyahu, was in danger when she shot Al-Sharif.
Hence, the soldier was detained for a short while in a military base and then released without any punishment.
