A new Islamic designer clothing brand has launched with a strong emphasis on urban street culture.
Rapper and Muslim convert, Brother Jalaal features in the official trailer of “Allegiance” clothing.
The garments which contain Islamic concepts like one Ummah, purpose of life, Tawhid (monotheism), prayer, nikah marriage, life after death and peace appears to be targeting inner-city Muslim youth to offer them a cultural alternative to criminality and gangsterism usually associated with hip-hop and gangster rap.
In the video, men are seen weight-lifting, boxing and exercising at gym, which will inevitably appeal to Muslims who are into contact sport, health and fitness.
It states on their website:
“Allegiance is not just a Clothing Brand…It’s a movement! We are here to inspire not only new dimensions in clothing and rap but bring about a positive new culture!”
