Tensions boiled on the streets of Manchester, Friday, as rival Muslim political activists clashed outside a mosque in Gorton as the bitter showdown between Labour and the Greens for the key Muslim vote escalates ahead of polling day.

Supporters of Labour and the Greens were witnessed by 5Pillars’ correspondent Robert Carter canvassing passionately on Jummah as both sides battle for the crucial Gorton and Denton seat.
