UK Abortion Bill: which Muslim MPs voted for and against

The following Muslim MPs voted FOR and AGAINST the recent amendment on the Abortion Bill, which decriminalises aborting a child after 24 weeks.

In the biggest reform to British abortion laws in nearly 60 years, members of Parliament have voted to decriminalise some late-term abortions.

Women in the UK can now abort a baby right up to the day of birth without any reason and face NO legal consequences.

More than half of Muslim MPs abstained or were not present to vote. Abortion is generally prohibited in Islam except in specific circumstances and contexts.
