Anti-racism protesters rally outside Reform UK party conference

Dozens of Stand Up To Racism protesters gathered outside the Reform UK Party conference hall in Birmingham, Friday, with speakers accusing the right-wing party of “racism” and linking Reform’s anti-immigrant rhetoric to the recent nationalist riots across England.

A 2024 survey, conducted by Savanta between 9-11 August among 2,237 participants, found 51% of UK voters hold the Reform UK leader Nigel Farage accountable for the violent disorder which led to more than 1,000 arrests and hundreds of charges.

Reform UK and Farage reject all accusations of racism and any responsibility in the racist riots following the 2024 Southport knife attack.
