Keir Starmer refuses to call Gaza slaughter ‘a genocide’

Labour leader Keir Starmer refused to call Israel’s murder of at least 37,000 Palestinians “genocide” on LBC yesterday.

Instead, he said a rigorous judicial process must be enacted to determine if it is genocide or not.

Over eight months into Israel’s genocide, vast tracts of Gaza lay in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water and medicine.

Israel stands accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice, whose latest ruling ordered Tel Aviv to immediately halt its operation in Rafah, where over a million Palestinians had sought refuge from the war before it was invaded on May 6.
