Imran Khan supporters protest alleged vote rigging in Pakistan general election

Supporters of Imran Khan’s PTI party are staging protests in several parts of Pakistan, alleging vote rigging and tampering with the results of yesterday’s general election, after delays and discrepancies in several constituencies.

Pakistan’s Interior Ministry says the delays were due to it suspending mobile phone services across the country, which it says was necessary to ensure a “foolproof security situation”.
