Israeli settlers blew a horn and performed ‘Talmudic rituals’ at the Bab al-Qattanin entrance to the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex this morning, an act considered as desecration of the Muslim holy site.
It comes amid repeated provocative incursions into the mosque complex by thousands of settlers in recent months following calls by ultranationalist Jewish groups – some of whom also openly call for the demolition of Al-Aqsa.
