80 unidentified Palestinians were buried in a mass grave in Rafah after Israel returned their bodies to Gaza.
Some of the bodies were intact, others arrived in pieces. Many had decomposed.
The Gaza government’s media office says the bodies were delivered “mutilated” and accused the Israelis of removing “vital organs from them”.
“After examination, it was clear that the features of the dead bodies were changed significantly, which is a clear evidence that Israel stole organs from the corpses,” it wrote in a statement.
It added that the Israeli army handed over the bodies without their names and refused to specify from where they were seized.
