Teachers at a high school outside Paris have gone on strike to protest against France’s abaya ban.
On Friday, French President Emmanuel Macron vowed his government would stick by the ban on the over-garment in schools, saying: “We will be uncompromising on this topic… We will take actions beyond words.”
