Two boats destined for Gaza carrying humanitarian aid were forbidden to dock in Paris on Sunday by the French authorities.
The boats are part of the International Freedom Flotilla which every two years tries to break the illegal blockade of Gaza, which has been imposed by Israel and Egypt.
France is a key European ally of Tel Aviv.
