Three drunken schoolgirls attacked pizza shop workers with weapons and spat in their faces in a racist assault, the Liverpool Echo reports.
The trio aged 14 and 15, “smiled and laughed” as they carried out the “relentless” attack at Paradise Pizza and Kebab House in Liverpool in February this year.
They struck the three male staff members with a screwdriver, a boot and shelf fittings and hurled racist abuse at them, Liverpool Youth Court heard.
One girl even removed her boot and hit one of the men in the face, breaking his nose, during the incident.
Victims Hassan Ghazi, Robert Kulys and Kurosh Azari showed “saint like restraint” as they were subjected to the unprovoked assault, the court was told.
District Judge Wendy Lloyd said she had viewed CCTV of the incident which showed the girls “enjoying the attack” and treating it like “sport”.
She said: “Bluntly, what I saw was absolutely terrifying. I took the opportunity to look at all the various camera angles in great detail, and what I saw took my breath away; I felt physically ill.

“This is an example of what happens, when no doubt fuelled by drink and each other, teenage girls lose control.”
The three girls from Merseyside, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to three charges of racially aggravated assault and one charge of racially aggravated criminal damage.
Ali Sarwar, prosecuting, told the court the men were helping Mr Ghazi to refit the takeaway on Walton Road, on February 5 when the girls burst into the shop.
A statement from Mr Ghazi, 61, said: “They were like wild animals, I have never seen anything like it. We tried to stay calm because they were just young girls.
“They attacked us for about 10 minutes until we managed to get them out of the shop.
“I was really scared, shocked and upset that three girls could inflict so much injury on three grown men.”
Mr Sarwar said one of the 14-year-olds began kicking and jumping on Mr Kulys’ Peugeot 307 parked outside, smashing a rear light and damaging the body work.
Statements from all three men referred to feeling “scared of repercussions”.
Nick Woosey, defending, the girl who broke Mr Ghazi’s nose, said the issue had started after a previous row over cars being damaged in the area by local youths.
He said: “She does wish through me to apologise to the victim.”
Keith Webster and Kevin Dallas, representing the other girls, said they recognised their behaviour was “unacceptable” and had complied with their bail conditions.
Judge Lloyd ordered the girls to be indoors between 7pm and 7am for three months, and issued a three-year restraining order banning them from approaching the victims or the Paradise pizza shop.
She also said the girls would undertake the Anthony Walker course to address their “clearly racist and aggressive tendencies”.
They were each ordered to pay £250 compensation.
