Police have been speaking with the mother of a missing Bradford student who turned 21 yesterday.
Officers looking for Aamir Qudeer were talking to his worried family at their home over the weekend. Friends of the University of Bradford student have pleaded with him to get in touch after he disappeared on Wednesday.
He was last seen at 1.15pm leaving his flat at Forster Hall student accommodation in Great Horton Road. His friends said his last mobile phone activity was about an hour and a half later.
Both his phones have since been switched off, they said.
Police said Mr Qudeer’s disappearance was reported to them on Thursday night One of Mr Qudeer’s friends, who did not want to be named, said: “This is not like him – it is not a runaway case. We just want him, or whoever he is with, to get in contact with us or his family.”
Mr Qudeer had played football with friends on Tuesday night, before returning to his flat with friends and later going to sleep.
