The Islamic Human Rights Commission has launched its annual “Islamophobia Awards” for 2014.
The IHRC will be holding an informal evening of “comedy mayhem” as they recognise the worst Islamophobes from around the world.
Muslims and non Muslims can nominate the worst offenders. The winners will be announced at the fundraising awards ceremony on 21st February 2014 with an additional prize awarded to the worst overall Islamophobe.
Five genuine awards will also be given to those who have struggled against Islamophobia.

Nominations
Use the form by clicking on the link below to send your suggestions for:

You can nominate individuals or organisations from any walk of life from journalists to politicians, authors to think tanks and more.
Reasons for nominating can be witty or dry, as long as it’s a valid reason. If possible, voters should send some links or references to back up their case
IHRC will keep updating the page and people can vote in each category.
There will be five prizes of £30 vouchers to be spent in IHRC’s online store for best reasons given for nominations and a ticket to the awards ceremony if you are in the UK.

5Pillarz have listed a few suggestions below for the worst Islamophobes of 2014.
Quilliam Foundation/Maajid Nawaz – One of the most despised “Muslim” organisations with absolutely no support at grassroots level. The co-founder, Maajid Nawaz in his latest stunt to anger mainstream Muslims posted a caricature of Prophet Muhammad (saw) and Isa (as) on Twitter.
Maryum Namazie – A strange individual who was previously a Muslim, and bases all her opinions on Islam on the “Iranian experience”. Knows as much as Mr Bean about Islam and the right-wing media adore her.
Home Secretary, Theresa May – Bans Muslim preachers from entering the UK, loves revoking passports from British citizens who travel to Syria and now thinking about applying “anti-terror” ASBOs to mainstream scholars/speakers…looks like a witch from a Disney animation.
Student Rights/Raheem Kassam – A front organisation for the pro-Zionist, pro-war and Islamophobic Henry Jackson Society. Witch hunts Muslim preachers, speakers, activists and students at British universities.
Henry Jackson Society – Pro-Zionist, pro-war and Islamophobic. Who funds them is unclear, most likely a pro-Israeli lobby group. Associate Director Douglas Murray is loved by the mainstream media to “articulately” bash Muslims on television.
English Defence League – “Muslamic law”…say no more!
Daily Mail – The most anti-Muslim, Islamophobic right-wing media outlet in the UK. Loves Muslims as much as Adolf Hitler loved the Jews.
