Women of Islamic political party, Hizb ut-Tahrir will be holding a march tomorrow in support of the women and children of Syria.
The march will take place in London and will be attended by thousands of women and children from across the UK in response to the Ghouta massacre where chemical weapons were used and to raise awareness to the ongoing plight of the women and children of Syria.
The event is also aimed at increasing global awareness of the struggle of Syrian women to replace the secular dictatorship of Bashar Al-Assad with the rule of Islam (Khilafah) for which they are sacrificing their lives and that of their families.
The march that has been titled, “March for Sisters in Syria dying for Islam! Support their struggle for Bilad Ash Sham!” will be led by a procession of children and will end at the Syrian embassy where there will be a number of speeches. The event has been preceded by a robust international campaign highlighting the brutality of the Assad regime against Syrian Muslims and its horrendous impact on women and children.
The event is also aimed at highlighting the “treacherous cowardice” of the neighbouring regimes that have watched on as idle spectators to the ongoing conflict. Hizb ut-Tahrir have called upon the mobilisation of neighbouring Muslim armies to protect the Ummah and not Syria alone.
Objectives
The main objectives of the march are:
Subscribe to our newsletter and stay updated on the latest news and updates from around the Muslim world!
• Stand in solidarity with the Muslim women of Syria and speak out against the shedding of their blood and that of their families and children.
• Reject Western intervention which will only subject the Muslims to another phase of oppression as seen in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya and is aimed at preventing the establishment of an Islamic government in Syria.
• Demand that the Muslim armies are mobilised to defend the blood and honour of their brethren.
• Express your full support of the Islamic struggle to replace the rule of a dictator with the rule of Allah (swt) under the Khilafah state that alone will protect the blood and dignity of the Muslims. Show the Muslim women of Syria that they are not alone and that your voices are at one with theirs in their noble call.
This campaign and march seeks to rally Muslim women to support the Islamic struggle of their sisters in Syria, to act with urgency in calling for an Islamic system in Syria and across the Muslim world. It will also voice strong opposition to Western intervention in the country which is aimed at crushing the struggle for an Islamic state in the region and installing their next client regime that will implement a Western secular system and serve their colonial agendas at the expense of the people, leading to another cycle of oppression for Syrian women.
The march will raise a strong call to the Muslim armies to rise and defend the blood and dignity of their sisters in Syria and to give their support for the re-establishment of the Khilafah.
The campaign is planning to go viral on Twitter this evening at 7pm with hasg tag #SyriaWomenMarch
