John Fontain gives dawah to rapper Game and his crew

In this exclusive video, Muslim convert John Fontain invites rapper Game and his crew to Islam when they visited Manchester.

Whilst the Game refused to listen to John, his accomplice “Kid Red” hears him out.

As the video progresses, it appears that a Muslim man wanted to take photos with the Game’s “groupies” (show girls and dancers).

In turn, the Game’s entourage asks the Muslim man if they could take a photos with his sister, and one goes on to say “let’s swap”.

John made the following statement regarding this video:

“Just to clarify the Game video was filmed in the afternoon in a restaurant, not a nightclub or concert.

I’ve since spoken to the brother and the sisters, and to confirm the brother DID NOT let his sister take a photo with the rappers, unfortunately he left them alone and the sisters in the heat of the moment took pictures, his blood sister did not let the Game touch her and the sister who was kissed was not happy with this situation.

“These sisters are our Muslims sisters, the comments which I’m reading on the videos are disgraceful and people who are sat at home judging these sisters need to be very careful what they say. Things that are incorrect are slander, and even if things are true it is backbiting, both major sins.

“The sisters will receive rewards from any injustice from the comments. The sisters are very practicing, mashAllah and they said that it all happened in the heat of the moment and they deeply regretted what happened. SubhanAllah, the sister knows the video has a benefit and hopes that it can be beneficial to people. Since this video has been released, I’ve had messages from people saying they want to start praying, they want to start practicing and leave major sins.

“Brothers and sisters, this outlines the point that we shouldn’t even get close to evil, in the heat of the moment when we are around evil, if we are not strong enough and our intentions are not clear, we can fall short in the remembrance of Allah. Most importantly, this can happen to anyone. It has nothing to do with how you bring up your children, unfortunately this affects us all. I know imam’s children that have memorised Quran that go to nightclubs. This Dunya is here as a test for us all.

“May this video be of benefit to help us realise our true role models and the dangers of the evil in this world. Ameen.”
